yes, my laptop has up to the AOS version, and desktop has the full version of the one i used to play.

How can I not patch up all the way?

Re-install UO and simply cancel the patch updates at a certain point?

I have snow everywhere, it's ghey. I also believe it has caused my lag to increase.

Yes this is correct, if you have the snow like me the guild chat does not work And the snow is so bright, it starts to hurt your eyes after awhile, hehe.
