Stables

Post by Jimi »

I am working on my first tamer and am wondering where some of my pets have gone from the stable? I had about 5 ostards in there yesterday and today i only have 3. Not sure why this has happened. I have enough gold in the bank to pay the stable fees.

In era, before the change to a global stable system, pets are required to be refreshed weekly. You will need to claim and re-stable them in order to not have them "sold off" as the stable master states when he accepts them.

The reason for this most plainly is that each stable has a limit to how many pets it can hold. If the stable master simply deducted 60 gold a week from the stables and kept the pets every stable in the land would soon be full, not to mention that people not remembering in which stable they had left that pack horse would have 60 gold draining from their bank account for eternity.

When the auto deduction system was instituted, the stables were globalized, and the number of pets held was made to be per player, not per stable as it is on Second Age.

Also, which you can conclude from Derrick's post but to make it more clear, each stable is separate from the others. If you stable your ostard in britain you can't run to minoc and claim it.
