Re: New Guy says Hello
Abuse? So you are tellin me that if some newb picks up a rune that says Moonglow on it, recalls to it without grabbing another rune, and finds himself/herself on the tiny island circled in the pic below (this is the island that T-map #5 is on), he/she would be "abusing" the system by usin...

Re: New Guy says Hello
Use the stuck feature under the help tab on your paper doll. just make sure you are in a safe place to do so if you are alive...otherwise you will be frozen in place until you are teleported and possibly killed. I believe staff has said this is an abuse of the "stuck" feature. It should o...

Re: Houses on towers
What era was it where small houses could be placed on top of towers? I remember several of these back in the day when I was playing. I think these were only placeable pre-T2A, but they may have been grandfathered and you still saw them in T2A. I can't remember if these were grandfather-able or not;...

Re: Pre marked runes
It'd be nice to not have to buy a whole new book or beg for 20 minutes at the bank to see if anyone will let you hit their rune. Or just venture out into the world and travel there yourself :P Although, I think what made single-rune vendors more popular on OSI was the fact that a lot of people didn...

Re: Cove - Can we have it back?
I disagree that Cove is useless. Lots of mining to be had in guard protection. No bank anymore but if you have a house just outside town or a friend/alt and you can stash your ingots quite easily

Re: Razor question
However, for dungeon chests all you need to do is take 1 step back and open the chest, the explosion will go off but you will not take damage, no need to telekinesis, but ONLY dungeon chests. Indeed, I forgot to mention this. I didn't know this the whole time while I GMed lockpicking and wasted a t...

Re: Razor question
2 things: 1. Is it worth getting dettect hidden and remove trap or is telekinesis just as effective? 2. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to macro lockpicking. I looked it up on wiki but can't figure out how to do the "IfAction" and all that. thx for the help. BTW these are both for...

Re: help me out. im an old newb
Does this include the razor macro? I believe that link and download includes Razor. Razor isn't a macro, it is an assistant program (3rd party program) that enables you to do many things you otherwise would not be able to. Creating and running macros are just one of many functions it can perform. W...

Re: Dual clienting T-map hunting
My friend on the other hand had Tmap bard who did not have wrestling or resist, I noticed he was getting pounded even by soft monsters like liches, and it seemed like a dread spider never missed the opportunity to poison him. If they don't have any wrestling, and (I'm assuming) a dread spider's ski...

Also, newbied items will be lootable on your corpse if you die as a red no matter where they are in the pack. Any item that is blessed (using a bless deed) will never be lootable from your corpseSheer Luck wrote:And you can lose newbie items if they aren't in the top layer of your pack.

Re: Exploits
I detect hidden as well. I attributed my house being looted to someone who had an auto hide on reveal macro. In other words, when I revealed their razor immediately detected that via the system message and auto hid. Since detect and hide are the same timer you could never reveal. Of course, i would...
