Re: Simply Nothing Being Done
It's not surprising a game that caters to shut-ins would draw the easily offended types. Actually, if anything it's drawn the foul mouthed idiots who've forgotten how to function in the real world. Your freedom of speech isn't being taken away because you can't spout off bigoted racist langua...

Re: petition to change house transfers
This should not be changed for the same reason there should not be a Trammel to avoid PKing or item insurance to avoid looting. People play here for the playstyle that T2A mechanics bring, and part of that playstyle is a more "social" style of trading, with greater emphasis on trusting peo...

Re: Archer bots (and other unattended killing) not era accurate.
An interesting argument, but it's based on a premise that is not true. The staff have specifically defined gathering resources while AFK as being illegal, not the vague concept of "gain". When you farm a mountain, the mountain spawns additional resources into the game world every time you ...

A shame it comes at a time that my guild's lost interest in the shard... =[ [OOC: Sorry to hear that Van, how come? If you folks ever return; maybe reconsider the Laws of War - May perk your activity & interests! ] As they are at present your Laws of War are going to isolate your guild f...

Re: Warning to players Matron real estate scams
For people too lazy to read any other posts:
Here's the tl;dr: Matron tried to buy a house, Raiko suggested using Tabius as a broker, a fake Tabius showed up that Raiko vouched for, Matron lost a keep deed.
Lesson to be learned: be careful who you're dealing with.

Cast something that interrupts and has a shorter cast time than Recall. Harm is good for this.

Re: IRC Scam
That's actually a really offensive thing to say. I realise Ultima Online shards are not exactly bursting with female players but it's not hard to see why with comments like that. I'm sure SJane knows the picture is a joke, that's not the problem. A racist joke is also a joke, but it's still racist.

Re: IRC Scam
They get banned from the forums like they would have gotten banned from MarkeeDragon (or similar sites) back in the day for being a scammer, but there's no in-game repercussions.
