Re: Locking down items next to doors
I think me, platy, or driz brought this up a long time ago. In era, when you couldnt physically lock items down in the front steps, they had a way of doing it. From what I remember, you would place the item on the steps where you wanted it to be, and pick it up, and drag it inside your house **NOT p...

•House placement changes, especially the allowance of placing over "dirt patches", and there may be slight changes to road proximity. Did this include the allowance of improper house placement such as being able to place a house on uneven terrain? This. Also I see that the patch date says...

Re: Mac Patch?
Hey man, I used a Mac when I played here. You actually need to install windows to get it running though. And when you turn on the comp, hold down the alt button and it should let you switch from Mac to Windows. I must warn you though, macs are terrible for pvp, and fast cons. I pinged at around 50 o...

Re: Weapon Swing delays and Archery trial on Test Center
I had a reply ready an hour ago or so, but got tied up at work, so some of the points I may be making in this post may be redundant, but here goes: One should keep in mind that the "attack last" macro didn't even exist until pretty far into the era (http://update.uo.com/design_25.html). I...

Re: Weapon Swing delays and Archery trial on Test Center
So lets say you have a swing ready, equip a bow, it instashoots. Then you wait 5 seconds instead of 6 with the bow UNequipped, if you put the bow back on before the 6 second swing time, you have to wait another 6 seconds making it a total of 11 seconds? Is this correct? I know the formulas and every...

Re: Nightmares
Pretty sure there is only one wild nightmare at any time in the world. Covetous lvl (2?), Oasis, and as posted, East of Delucia are the only spawns I know of. Again, your going to have run around the lost lands to find out exactly where it spawns, if its even spawned at that location. I think Ons sa...

Re: Weapon Swing delays and Archery trial on Test Center
I tried out archery, and my only problem with it is that it is tooo slow. Both the hally and hXbow are rated at "very slow" in the UO book I got from when I bought it, however, the hxbow has something like a 12 second swing time, where as the hally swings every 4 seconds... I was also wond...

Re-deeding houses.
Im trying to re-sell one of my deeds to the NPC and the value is no where close to what I paid for it. Its a large patio house and the NPC vendors will only give me 21k for it. Is this right? Just thought this was kind of out of the blue, I read and searched for a couple of posts and saw that its su...

Re: T2A Accuracy Discrepancies (with a focus on PvP)
Self disrupts werent part of era. Bugs were exploited in t2a when you could cast while dragging items. Im sure we posted patch notes on the forum somewhere. I dont like them but can deal with them. Disrupts: My only problem here is that your screenies are from uo:r. Not really any more convincing th...

Re: Debuff Disrupts
First, wrestling has nothing to do with this as the change we are proposing (and believe is OSI T2A accurate) is for debuffs to always disrupt. This is not dependent on the defender's wrestling skill. Now, considering what you're saying about giving a big advantage to PKs: I actually don't think it...

Re: Debuff Disrupts
Aye. This is why I don't want to make further changes unless we can close the book on this question forever. We've got 250+ real people that play daily on UOSA and are accustomed to how things work now. Taking the chance on a change on a hunch is something that happened once here I don't want to re...

Re: Debuff Disrupts
Leave it the way it is. If we keep on changing the pvp system, derrick and the rest of the shard staff will lose credibility due to everchanging combat systems, im tired of combat changing :/ I feel the same. Duels might not be the best, but how often did you guys 1v1 during t2a? Its not all about ...
