Re: siege perilous

Siege was awesome, you just didn't understand how everyone used the RoT skill system. Macro like normal to the 70s, then you never had to macro again. You were basically promised x number of gains after 70, which, while making the time to GM longer, it also removed much stress associated with the r...

Re: Blessed Items should break from damage [continued, part

I am sure that blessed items broke. A long time ago I had a very nice pair of Dark Blue Sandals and I was a thief fighter and I have been in some wars with people with mace fighting. I needed money at that time and I sold my blessed sandals to some guy but he wasn't sure if he should by it 1.) becau...

Re: Getting killed in the middle of a tower?

I say that is should be left. Because I made the point that most people played the game without macroing unlike in this game where people are allowed to. So therefore back then you didn't see this happen because nobody was up on a tower unattended macroing their character, so therefore this never re...

Re: Thinking of coming back.

It is really all your choice. I played a little bit here a couple of years ago but I got busy and quit again. So I don't think anyone cares if I came back or not because of the fact that I am trying to build up my character however I don't know exactly know what type of template I want to be. Also I...

Re: Female Armor

You could do both incognito and polymorph into a female only. When you became a male and removed the female armor you had to redo it again.

Re: Towns being attacked?

I vaguely remember this happening. I remember purple elementals spawning at Vesper or whatever that town is west of Minoc. I think their was some skeletons or bone knights and I swear skeletons did pop up from Britian bank from time to time. But, I think some of these were attributed by people lurin...

Re: Blessed Items should break from damage [continued, part

I am not 100% sure if it was possible to break items with weapons like swords. But I am 100% items, blessed or not broke with those using macing weapons. That is why I was a macer when I was playing because I wanted to break peoples damn black sandals. Also I am sure if anyone had item blessed weapo...

Re: siege perilous

I actually visited that shard when it first started it was way interesting and entertaining. However, the stress of having my skill go up around what 5 minutes? That is pretty harsh. The whole thing was harsh and too slow for build up in my taste. However, it was interesting because everyone seemed ...

Re: Mindblast?

I am going to post what I remember and opinion. Mind Blast was crap during the T2A and after that the made mind blast more powerful. If you were a warrior you were screwed with the weaken, feeble-mind type spells did in fact take a warrior down what seems like two shots despite having 100 magic resi...

Re: hello and goodbye

I think everyone got a taste of greedy looters. You just need to stand your ground and either go somewhere else, kill the person. I think it is recommended to find people to play with if you are doing that kind of thing. I have been pked once in the guard zone in Yew before thank god they fixed the ...

Re: Graveyard House?

I don't think it was possible to place a house inside the graveyard. There has been one interesting unique placement of a house in the Buc's Den in the tunnel and I believe that was in Napa Valley, and also houses used to be placed even on unflat ground that is what I know on house placements. Even ...

Re: Blessed Items should break from damage [continued, part

I am pretty sure that anything blessed could still break especially from mace fighting. I remember this being true, I remember that when I sold my dark blue blessed sandals and the guy that I sold it too was worried that it was about to break and he IDed it and it was in good condition but it was st...

Re: Stealing

I want to add this. Because I am pretty sure that the disguise kit didn't wear off after death. I always remember it being 2 hours no matter what. Unless that was the UO:R version, but I highly doubt that because that time period thieves started to disappear. So I pretty sure that the disguise kit d...

New player GM already

Hi, guys this is probably the most fantastic shard I have ever witnessed. Not only it brought back a lot of great memories, I am glad to be back and playing the way it was before it hit the crapper. I picked bones with people in the past, since I enjoyed having fun and thieving people back in the da...
